Well, after having this blog for something like 4 years now, I am FINALLY going to write my first post! Woohoo!
Why so long? Between a demanding job, grad school, church activities, hobbies, and life in general, the time just seemed to never be right. I would sit down to start writing and then found that I wasn't ready or would get distracted. Now that I've graduated with my Master's in Interdisciplinary Studies - Contemporary Animal Services Leadership and Leadership from Southern Utah University (Go, T-Birds!), life has calmed down quite a bit, and I am ready.
I used to have another blog about 12 years ago where I did book reviews, and I remember loving be able to talk about books I am reading. When I envisioned this blog, I wanted to be able to talk about 2 of my favorite things, books and coffee! I also love animals (and work in animal services), so I'm sure there will be some talk about animals too!
